With his access codes, we can manipulate the market to our advantage.// \\ ---[[:agents:Central]] **Chief Financial Suites** are a type of [[:mission]] which can occur in both [[:modes:#Campaign modes]] and [[:modes:#Endless modes]]. The primary objective of a Chief Financial Suite mission is to locate the [[:guards:Financial Executive]], [[:KO|knock him out]] and conduct a brain scan for a number of turns. The reward for successfully completing the brain scan is a [[:items:Vault Access Card]]. ===== Interrogation ===== > //The executive has been located. Disable him and get his cerebral implant ready for the interrogation.// \\ ---[[:agents:Central]] When the [[:guards:Financial Executive]] is [[:KO|KOed]] while an [[:agent]] is a [[wp>Euclidean distance]] of 3 or less from him for the first time, a 6-turn counter will begin. You will be able to track its progress using the 6 bars under "Brain scan in progress" under the "Objectives" tab. Once the 6 turns have elapsed, a [[:items:Vault Access Card]] will appear on the tile where the executive is. The corporation's [[#Security Response]] is triggered after the 3rd turn of the scan has elapsed. The [[:guards:Financial Executive]] will always be [[:KO|KOed]] for 6 turns, and will have quite a few credits to steal. If any of the following happen during the scan, the brain scan will fail, and you will be unable to retry (and therefore unable to get the [[:items:Vault Access Card]] this mission): * There is not a non-[[:KO|KOed]] and non-[[:lethal_damage|lethally wounded]] [[:agent]] whose [[wp>Euclidean distance]] from the [[:guards:Financial Executive]] is 5 or less * [[:agents|Central]] will warn you when you move your closest [[:agent]] further than a [[wp>Euclidean distance]] of 3 from the [[:guards:Financial Executive]]. This means that you sometimes can move one more step when this warning occurs. * The [[:guards:Financial Executive]] is [[:lethal_damage|killed]]. * The [[:guards:Financial Executive]] wakes up during the interrogation. Note that the [[:items:Vault Access Card]] will still be dropped if he wakes up on the same turn that the scan finishes, and that along with the 6 turn [[:KO]] the chief executive always suffers when [[:KO|KOed]] means this can only happen if the [[:daemons|Jolt]] daemon is triggered during the scan while the [[:guards|chief executive]] isn't [[:pinning|pinned]], or if you initially [[:KO|KOed]] him from more than 3 tiles away and didn't get within 3 tiles of him the turn you did so. In either of those cases, the [[:guards:Financial Executive]] will need to be [[:pinning|pinned]] for some time for the [[:items:Vault Access Card]] to be obtained. ===== Security response ===== > //Dammit! Expect more company soon.// \\ ---[[:agents:Central]] An [[:guard_behaviour#alerted]] [[:guards:Enforcer]] will spawn in a random [[:facility#guard entrances|guard entrance]] with a special [[:guard_behaviour|interest point]] on the [[:guards:Financial Executive]]'s location. This [[:guard_behaviour|interest point]] is like no other in the game: until the [[:guards:Enforcer]] has investigated this tile, his [[:guard_behaviour|interest point]] will always reset to this one at the beginning of his turn. He can still notice [[:agents]] and other suspicious things during his turn and be distracted for that turn, but will always return to his original interest point at the start of his turn. {{tag>incomplete}}
