====== Mainframe Devices ======

A **mainframe device** is any device with [[:firewalls]] which can be hacked. Hacking a mainframe device typically disables it, allows it to be used by the agency in some way, or otherwise gives some advantage.

Mainframe devices also include [[:drones]] and some human [[:guards:]], which are not listed below. Some devices are [[#mission-specific devices|specific to particular missions]] or side-missions.

There are some devices which are not mainframe devices since they do not have [[:firewalls]] that can be hacked, but which can nonetheless be disabled by [[:rebooting]] them.
