====== Experienced ======

**Experienced** is the second standard [[:modes:|game difficulty setting]] for the campaign mode. It has the following differences compared to [[Beginner]] mode:

  * By default, you have 3 [[:rewinds]] instead of 5, and [[:rewinds#level retries]] are disabled.
  * The effects of [[:alarm level]] changes happen sooner in the mission, or are more severe.
  * There are more [[:guards:]] per mission.
  * Guard [[:guard behaviour#patrolling|patrol paths]] are longer, more likely to go through [[:doors]], and guards sometimes patrol into the [[:facility#starting room]].
  * The enemy has an "increased [[:missions:OMNI Mainframe#final resistance]]" in the [[:missions:OMNI Mainframe]] mission.
  * [[:Daemons:]] are installed on more [[:mainframe devices:]].

Additionally, there are [[Beginner#Differences to other modes|several specific differences]] unique to Beginner mode, which will no longer apply when moving up to Experienced mode.
