Charge program icon

Charge is a passive utility program which increases the cooldowns of other programs by 1 turn, but increases their PWR costs by 2. It has no effect on passive programs; program cooldowns of 0 turns will become 1 turn. Charge can be bought from some Server Terminals for 900 credits.

Charge's effect always applies while it is installed, and cannot be enabled or disabled at will. Overdrive only raises other programs' cooldowns at the time they are used, so if Charge is installed while another program is already on cooldown, it does not raise that program's cooldown timer. If Charge is sold while another program is on cooldown, it also does not decrease that program's cooldown timer.

If both this program and Overdrive are installed, both of their effects occur, resulting in all programs having -1 PWR cost and -1 cooldown; however, since Overdrive cannot reduce cooldowns below 1, programs that would otherwise have no cooldown will have 1 cooldown with both programs installed.
