Thermal Disruptors

PWR is surged into the target's armor in the form of heat, temporarily weakening it enough for the disruptor to do it's work.

Thermal Disruptors are non-lethal melee weapons able to pierce high armor levels. In addition to having cooldowns, Thermal Disruptors cost PWR proportional to the target's armor level; there is no PWR cost for attacking guards without armor. There are four “tiers” of Neural Disruptor that are generally available.
