Volt Disruptor
Volt Disruptors channel PWR to disrupt the Noosphere around a target, incapacitating them for a time.
The volt disruptor family of items are very similar to their neural disruptor counterparts, but they have a PWR cost instead of a cooldown.

Nika's Volt Disruptor
Nika carves a notch out of her Disruptor each time she takes down someone with it. It's gotten noticeably lighter over the years.
Strategy
Volt disruptors are potentially more useful than neural disruptors for agencies that can generate a lot of PWR and have a need to knock out a lot of guards in a short amount of time. This makes them good with Dynamo and Archive Internationale for their late PWR generation, and Nika, whose ability to attack twice in one turn greatly appreciates their lack of cooldown. Nika's Volt Disruptor showcases this quite well early on, though its lack of armor piercing means that it cannot be used later in campaigns without the help of a Penetration Scanner or two.
The Volt Disruptor IV tends to be quite outclassed by the other tier IV disruptors, as although it lacks a cooldown, like other Volt Disruptors, it still has the 1 charge per mission restriction, largely defeating its purpose, and it costs 5 PWR, which its counterparts do not.
