Experienced is the second standard game difficulty setting for the campaign mode.

Things are starting to heat up. Now that you have a better hang of the game, the corporations are tougher and we're pulling away the safety net. No more level retries: your every action counts.

Experienced mode has the following differences compared to Beginner mode:

• By default, you have 3 rewinds instead of 5, and level retries are disabled.
• The effects of alarm level changes happen sooner in the mission, or are more severe.
• There are more guards per mission.
• Guard patrol paths are longer, more likely to go through doors, and guards sometimes patrol into the starting room.
• The enemy has an “increased final resistance” in the OMNI Mainframe mission.
• Daemons are installed on more mainframe devices.

Additionally, there are several specific differences unique to Beginner mode, which will no longer apply when moving up to Experienced mode.
