Enforcers are armed guards who can throw Scan Grenades to detect agents in cover. Enforcers are never present at the start of a mission, but they arrive during missions for various reasons:
One Enforcer arrives at alarm level
5, and two arrive at alarm level 6.
An Enforcer arrives when the daemon Validate
Enforcers are brought in by scripted events in the OMNI Mainframe
If an Enforcer is killed
, then a new Enforcer arrives to replace him at the end of the enemy turn.
Enforcers arrive at guard entrances, and are always alerted as soon as they enter the facility. They never carry any loot to steal.
Elite Enforcers are same as regular Enforcers, except that they have armor.
Scan grenades are throwable items that can only be used by Enforcers. When thrown, it will scan an area of 6 tiles, similarly to drones' scanning ability. If an agent happens to be caught in scan grenade's range, an interest point will be created at agent's tile and enforcer who threw the grenade will investigate that tile. Scan grenade throws can also be predicted; when enforcer is observed or tagged, his throw will be represented as an arc. In endless mode, onwards from day 13, their grenades will also be able to disrupt cloaking rigs and Prism's disguise.
